Abstract An extensive review of the identified area indicates that a lot of work done on digital learning, e-learning and e-resources in India. At the same time an emerging trend, ’personalisation of learning is seen in foreign countries. But we know that the Indian Government has taken lots of digital initiatives for the betterment of higher education under the flagship initiative NME-ICT. As per the reviews done, the digital initiatives that the government has taken for higher education and how well the students, teachers and administrators have been able to put those initiatives to fruition, no such research work has come to their notice.
