Online published on 17 October, 2024. Abstract The Mising tribe is one of the Indigenous and riverine tribe of Assam. Present paper gives an account on various plants being used by them against different, as this knowledge is confined to this tribe only in the Assamese society. The study was undertaken from 2021 to 2023. The primary data was collected through interviews, personal observation, and questionnaire. About 43 plant species were identified along with their botanical name, vernacular name, and family. These identified species are mostly herbs, shrubs, trees.
