Weed Control Studies in Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus Moench)1 Vashistha R. N., Pandita M. L., Singh Kirti 1Contribution from Department of Vegetable Crops, Haryana Agricultural University, Hissar. Abstract An experiment on weed control studies in okra (pusa Sawani) was conducted to test the relative efficacy of certain pre-emergence herbicides. Lasso and Tok E-25 @ 2 kg/ha were most effective in controlling the weed population. Both herbicides improved the yield of okra in comparison to control. Highest amount of nutrients N, P2 O5 and K2O were removed from control plots by these weeds because of high weed population. Top | |
