Abstract A pigeon reported with history of being found on road side near electric pole, lying down with blood discharge from eyes, dull and depressed, unable to stand and fly with subnormal body temperature (101.1°F). The pigeon was under shock. Treatment was initiated with dexamethasone, antibiotics and vitamins. Pigeon responding to treatment within 24 hrs and was able to stand and started feeding on grains. Rectal temperature was increased to 105.3°F. Teatment was continued for 5 days. After complete recovery bird was released in its own environment.
