Online Published on 16 September, 2024. Abstract A pigeon was presented with complaint of food grains draining through open wound on lower cervical esophageal (neck) and chest region. On the basis of clinical examination, the condition was diagnosed as a traumatic crop fistula. The surgery was carried out under the light plane of general anesthesia using Ketamine hydrochloride and Diazepam anesthetics. The bird was followed for 15 days and recovered uneventfully.
