Abstract The present study was conducted on two Gynaecological cases in the field and cows presented with history of over gestation and suffering from dystocia due to foetal maceration (two crossbred Holstein Friesian cow). Both animals were already treated at field level for induction of parturition by local practitioner but no response was observed. On per vaginal examination, animals were found with closed cervix. Animals were examined through per-rectal examination confirmed pregnant with scanty fluid in contracted uterus and foetal skeleton. Initially, both animals were treated for induction of parturition with Valethamate bromide and PGF2α. But in Case-2 parturition induction protocol was not responded. So in Case-1 manually per-vaginally removal of foetal bone and in Case-2 cervix was closed, so we decided to perform laparohysterectomy. In both animal foetuses were exteriorised successfully. Post-operative treatment with fluids, antibiotics, ecbolic and other supportive treatment was recommended for 7 days. Both animal recovered and became cyclic.
