Abstract The present study was carried out to evaluate the effect of planting time on growth parameters of Gladiolus at Experimental Farm, Department of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, K.N.K. College of Horticulture, Mandsaur (M.P.) in the Malwa plateau region of Madhya Pradesh during 2021-22. The experimental material was consisting of 3 replications with 7 treatments of planting time i.e., T1 (October 15th), T2 (October 25th), T3 (November 5th), T4 (November 15th), T5 (November 25th), T6 (December 5th), T7 (December 15th). The planting dates, T3 (November 5th) and T5 (November 25th) performed best results with respect of most of the growth parameters. The highest plant height (cm), number of leaves per hill, length of longest leaf (cm), width of longest leaf (cm), chlorophyll content of leaves was noticed in T3 (November 5th)and days taken to sprouting was noticed in T5 (November 25th) Top Keywords Gladiolus, Planting time, Growth parameters.
