Online Published on 14 December, 2023. Abstract A multilocation study on the dissipation and harvest time residue of afidopyropen in/on brinjal and cotton showed initial residues of 6.37 and 11.27 mg kg-1 in brinjal leaf, which decreased with half-life of ~2.8 days in both the doses at Anand, Gujarat. In brinjal fruit, the residues were less than limit of determination (<LOQ) of 0.01 mg kg-1 on 0 day (1 h) in locations from Karnataka and on 1st day from Anand and Rahuri. The initial levels of 0.23 and 0.41 mg kg-1 in standard and double dose, respectively, in cotton leaf decreased to <LOQ (0.05 mg kg-1) on 1st and 3rd day, respectively. In other cotton samples, the residues were <LOQ. The present data can be used by regulatory bodies for establishing MRL. Top Keywords Afidopyropen, Field trial, LC-MS/MS, Brinjal, Cotton. Top |
