Abstract Research in every field and more so in the field of education is the demand of the day. Progress in any field is directly linked with research in that field. Our problems and difficulties in the field of education further necessitate a purposeful and sustained research effort. Plagiarism is regarded as a common schema that reflects primarily on individual's educational delinquency. It clearly violates the provisions of academic honesty and integrity. Also, it prohibits the further attainment of academic excellence. Today the effort is just on COPY+PASTE i.e. the ideas of other is copied and pasted. But when we talk about innovation, it means doing new things, so collaboration of innovation and research go hand in hand. “Innovation is the only way to win.” This is the need of the hour and not plagiarism.
