Abstract A buffalo with history of access to fodder recently sprayed with phorate, an organophosphorous compound was presented with signs of excessive salivation, shivering, stiff gait and respiratory distress. Poisoning was diagnosed based on history of toxicant ingestion and clinical signs exhibited. Successful management of the case with physiological antidote and supportive therapy was recorded.
