Abstract Congestive heart failure often referred as heart failure is an emerging cardiac disorder that is associated with diseases of myocardium, endocardium and great vessels. The condition can be diagnosed with a set of diagnostic utilities of which electrocardiogram is one. Abnormalities of amplitude and duration of P, Q, R, S, T and QRS waves, ST coving, ventricular premature complexes, ventricular tachycardia, atrial standstill, junctional premature complexes with II degree AV block, ventricular bigeminy, bundle branch block, low voltage QRS complexes and atrial fibrillation were the abnormal ECG findings recorded among congestive heart failure dogs. However, confirmation of various causes of heart failure was diagnosed using echocardiography. Top Keywords Electrocardiography, dog, heart failure. Top |
