Abstract

A parrot was presented with complaint of severe alopecia of the head and neck region, ocular infection with partial opening of eyes and yellowish white deposits in oral cavity. Culturing and identification of the smear from ocular lesion confirmed presence of Candida albicans. The parrot was successfully treated with oral administration and local application of antifungal agents.
