Notes to Authors
Manuscripts, editorial communications and books for review should be sent to Prof. G.L. Sharma, Managing Editor, Indian Journal of Finance and Research, 116-D, Pocket IV, Mayur Vihar, Phase I, New Delhi-110091 (India).
Authors are requested to keep in mind the following guidelines while submitting the articles:
- Manuscripts should be clearly typed, double-spaced with wide left-hand margin. Two copies should be submitted.
- Brevity in the presentation of the material will be highly appreciated. While the Editors of the Journal would not like to fix any upper limit for the strength of an article, they would lime the author(s)s to see that the article does not ordinarily exceed 20 printed pages.
- The first page should have information in the following order: (i) title of paper, (ii) name(s) of author(s), (iii) Institutional affiliation(s) and full address(s), and (iv) abstract not exceeding 100 words.
- Footnotes referring to the actual manuscript should begin with the number 1 and be consecutively numbered throughout the paper. All the footnotes should be typed consecutively at the end of the paper.
- References should be indicated by author's and articles and books referred to should appear in the end under the heading "References". In the case of articles, page numbers should be given.
- Copies of diagrams, accurately drawn by a draughtsman on tracing paper in black Indian ink should be sent with the paper.
- The article should end with a non-technical summary statement of the main conclusions.
