Author Guidelines
Article submission to the Journal:
1. First Page File: | | Prepare the title page, covering letter, acknowledgement. All information disclosing your identity should be there in this page only. |
2. Article File: | | The main test of the article beginning from abstract till refernces (with tables) should be in this file. Do not include your identity in these pages. |
3. Images: | | Submit good quality images (Physical) & in CD seperately. Jpeg is mos suitable image file; The images should be of high resolution exceptional quality. |

Authors should retain copy of their manuscript for their own records.
The Manuscript should be typed in A4 size paper, with 1" margins on all sides. Use 1.5–2.0 spacing throughout, Number of paper starting with title page, language British English.
The Journal of Dental Research & Therapies is the official publication of Luxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patiala (Punjab) and is designed to serve the Dental/Medical professionals. It is a platform to publish articles relevant to the Science & practice of Dentistry & associated sciences and to communicate as a journal & bulletin of Information for postgraduate & undergraduate students.
Manuscript preparation and submissicm format:
Manuscripts submitted for publication must be original articles and should not have appeared in any other publication.
Authorship Individuals identified as authors must have
Substantial contribution to conception, design & analysis of data.
Drafting the article evaluating it critically for publication.
Final approval of the data to be published.
The order of authorship should be a joint decision of co-authors. Once submitted the order cannot be changed without written consent of all authors. For a study carried out in a single Institute, the Number of authors should not exceed six. For case report or review article the No. of authors should not be more than four. For short communication three is the limit.
The manuscript should be mailed to editor with three hard copies and a soft copy by registered post with acknowledgement or courier with acknowledgement & must contain the signatures of author/authors.
The Editors review all submitted manuscripts initially, Manuscripts with insufficient originality, serious scientific flaws or unimportant to relevant scientific field will be rejected.
The Manuscripts, thus filtered are sent to two or more expert reviewers without disclosing identity of authors. Within a period of eight to twelve weeks, the contributors will be informed about acceptance/rejection of manuscript. Accepted articles will be edited for grammar, punctuation, print style & format. All manuscripts received are duly acknowledged through e-mail & status can be verified through office.
