Guidelines for Preparation of Manuscript

Types of Scientific Communications

Mini-Reviews: Mini-reviews should be of 2000-4000 words excluding figures, structures, photographs, schemes, tables etc.

Full-Length Reviews: Full-length reviews should be of 3000-5000 words excluding figures, structures, photographs, schemes, tables etc.

Research Articles: Research articles should be of 3000-6000 words excluding figures, structures, photographs, schemes, tables etc.

Manuscript Preparation:

The manuscript should be written in English in a clear, direct and active style. All pages must be numbered sequentially, facilitating in the reviewing and editing of the manuscript.

Manuscripts should be neatly typed, 1.5 lines-spaced throughout, including tables, on pages of uniform size with at least 2 cm margins on all sides.

Manuscript Sections:

Covering Letter, Title, and Title Page with author affiliations, Abstract, Key Words, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, Figures, Annexure (if any).

Covering Letter- All manuscripts should contain the covering letter Signed by corresponding author.

Manuscript Title Page- Top of paper, Times New Roman; Fonts all caps, bold, 14 points.

Author Names- Last name, followed full first name, corresponding author of the manuscript must be marked with an asterisk and should be listed first, font: bold, 12 points.

Institutional affiliations- Institution/Industry addresses 12 points
E-mail: Email of correspondence authors, 10 points.
Abstract should contain maximum 250 words & 4-6 Keywords.

References

The references should be listed on a separate sheet and should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are cited in the text. Cite the references in the text by the appropriate number e.g. 1, 2, 3 and the numbers should be in square brackets i.e. [ ]
