A medio-lateral radiograph revealed closed complete distal diaphyseal tibial fracture of the right hind limb. A retrograde intramedullary pinning was performed to stabilize fractured bone by using 1.4 mm Kirschner wire. On 42nd post-operative day, medio-lateral radiograph confirmed the implant was in position and formed bridging callus between fractured bone ends.
