Abstract

The library has to be updated with modern information and communication technology infrastructure. This study examines the library users’ approach towards library resources and services available at National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Sonipat. It analyzes the various aspects of library collection usage, frequency and purposes of library visits, and user satisfaction of library resources. For this purpose a well structured questionnaire was distributed among the users. Data were collected from 92 users. 34.78% users seek assistance from library personnel to fulfill their information needs. 21.73% users visited the library for research purpose.
