Today, India ranks second worldwide in farm output. Agriculture and allied sectors like forestry and fisheries accounted for (13.7%) of the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in 2013, about 50% of the total workforce. The economic contribution of agriculture to India's GDP is steadily declining with the country's broad-based economic growth. Still, agriculture is demographically the broadest economic sector and plays a significant role in the overall socio-economic fabric of India. India is moving towards VISION 2020 since most of the our nation has Agriculture as primary source of income it should be Agriculture 2020. Where there are terms like Investments, Profits, Losses, Selling, Purchasing are used there is BUSINESS. This paper contains the approach to make Modern Agricultural System (Agriculture 2020) more effective by using business intelligence. It contains fact and dimensional approach for the Agriculture 2020 to support the decision making capability of the farmer by making simple reports. This Business Intelligence (BI) model could be supported by Government or Private agency for the motive of ‘Effective Investments in Agriculture’. The data will be organized by the agency to make Raw Data that would be filtered in future for BI Reports. The model will have all required entities that could be useful in the decision making
