Abstract

The main focus of this research paper is to analyze the impact of foreign institutional investors on the Indian capital market. As the Foreign Institutional Investments affects the real economy of India via the stock market, there is a need to study the impacts. This research paper analyzes the role of FIIs and their turnover in the Indian capital market. It also analyzes the relationship between FIIs investment and the movement of sensex and nifty in India. Historical data for the last 10 years is taken and cause and effect research design is used for data analysis. Statistical tools are used to test the relationship among the FIIs and sensex, nifty. Some valuable findings are summarized at the end of this paper.
