Twenty one representative apple orchards of Sirmour district of Himachal Pradesh were surveyed for assessing their nutritional status using leaf and soil analyses. The leaf analysis exhibited that N, P, K, Ca, Zn, Cu and B were inadequate in some samples. Soil analysis also exhibited medium to high status of all the macro-and micro-nutrients except in afew soils.
