Agri-Business in rural areas and also Agro-Industrialization assumes significance in view of the changed scenario of agriculture. In order to promote agri-business and making agriculture a business enterprise rather considering agriculture as yet another industry, there has to be a shift in approach in farming conducive to promotion of agribusiness not only in big cities and state capitals but also at the block level and if possible at grass root level too. For this to happen we have to examine to what are the agencies which can participate in the task of bringing revolutionary changes in promoting Agri-Based enterprises. The finding of the study reveals that most of the respondents were socio-personal and economically efficient to start agri-based enterprise. Most of the problems stated by the respondents can be easily bridged with the help of organization and support agencies such as ATMA, Input supply agencies and Line department of Agriculture. Major problems were lack of finance and government support. Interfaces at various stages, public private partnership, HRD, use of IT and training were found as major solution of the problems.
