In this paper, the researcher explores a study, which mainly aims to examine the perceptions, differences in use and overall gratifications of research scholars in the context of the use of the Internet to pursue their research work at Guru Ghasidas University (A Central University), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. The study further focused on the preferred information, source, and methods to access the Internet. The objectives, scope, research methodology of the study are clearly expanded. To conduct this study, the researchers prepared a well-structured questionnaire as a tool for data collection and the same responses were subjected to mathematical and statistical analysis.
