Community radio, as a grassroots medium, plays a significant role in addressing the health awareness needs of marginalized and rural populations. This article explores the multidimensional role of community radio in promoting health awareness, particularly in underserved communities. Through participatory approaches, localized content, and culturally sensitive communication, community radio has proven to be an effective tool in disseminating health information, encouraging behavior change, and bridging the health communication gap. This study also examines successful case studies, evaluates challenges, and proposes recommendations to enhance the efficacy of community radio in health promotion.
