Application of splunk towards log files analysis and monitoring of mobile communication nodes

Splunk is installed on a telecommunication sector for monitoring the logs of the different nodes. The main motive behind the development of application of splunk is to find out the phone number of the perpetuator who uses the mobile internet for abnormal things. This paper examines the need of developing a methodology which would help the analyst to tackle the situation and collect logs to prove the crime. Also, this paper puts forward a tool which would help the analyst show the logs in the well formed manner.
