Abstract

Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) Congestion Control techniques are a field where many researches are going on. Although there are different proposals, no effective methods exist for the prevention of packet loss in many to one scenario in networks. When many synchronized servers send data to the same receiver in parallel, the probability of occurring congestion is high. This kind of traffic pattern is common in many important applications where high bandwidth and low latency is a must. Hence TCP congestion may severely affect the performance of these kind of applications, e.g., by reducing throughput or by increasing response time. Unlike the related previous approaches, in this paper idea is to design an effective receive window adjustment scheme which avoids packet loss for different kinds of applications. In this paper the idea is to achieve high throughput and no packet loss.
