It is clear that in an under developed tribal community, where the poor people form the majority, owing to sheer poverty, they could not avail of the educational opportunities. Thus, the educational development of the marginalized people of is inter linked with their socio economic condition. Hence prior to solving the problems associated with the educational backwardness of the tribals the problem of bread must be satisfied. Among the these people who hardly get meal twice a day, education is a tall talk, taking into account the predominant role played by socio economic factors in determining the utilisation of facilities by the ST and SCs. (Das and Naidu, 2003).
