Abstract

The elastic deformation effects on the boundary layer flow of Walter's liquid B Fluid over a stretching surface in the presence of aligned magnetic field was studied. The basic governing equations, the PDEs, were transformed into ODEs using similarity transformation and then solved analytically using hypergeometric function. The results for various flow characteristics have been presented through graphs and tables that delineated the effect of various parameters characterizing the flow. It was observed that the temperature profile increased with viscoelastic parameter and decreased with elastic deformation parameter
