A Mathematical Model is developed to study the effect of toxicant on the growth and survival of biological species in an environment. If the emission rate of toxicant increases without control then species population goes to extinction in the given habitat. It also observed that if suitable efforts are made to reduce the emission rate of toxicant at the source then an appropriate level of species density can be achieved to maintain Ecological balance
