Abstract

A new allelochemical 5,7, 3′, 4′-tetrahydroxy-8-methoxy-flavone-7-O-α-Lrhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl- 4′-O-β-D-xylopyranoside (A) m.f. C32H38O19, m.p. 262–264°C, [M]+ 726 (FABMS) along with a known compound myricetin (C) was isolated from the methanol soluble fraction of the defatted seeds of Blumea lacera (DC)
