The charecterstics of thirty - nine pollen types identified from G. Madugula mandal of Paderu forest division, Visakhapatnam district are described in this paper. The pollen types seems to belong to viz., Asteraceae, Malvaceae, Apocynaceae, Nyctaginaceae, Poaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Solanaceae, Boraginaceae, Convolvulaceae, Oleaceae, Amaranthaceae, Rhamnaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Celastraceae, Papaveraceae, Caesalpiniaceae, Lamiaceae, Rubiaceae, Plumbaginaceae, Acanthaceae, Sapindaceae and Boraginaceae families. These pollens differ in pollen morphology in symmetry, shape, polarity, apertural pattern and sculpture, This diversity seen here may help in identification of various taxa and thus may be useful in taxanomy
