Abstract

The problem of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) unsteady flow of an electrically conducting optically thin fluid through a channel filled with porous medium, without porous medium and non-uniform walls temperature were discussed in the present study. The governing equations were implied with reasonable approximations and were solved analytically to get the expressions for velocity field and temperature field in the closed form using similarity transformations. Graphical results were presented for velocity and temperature components for various values of parameters. The fluid velocity profile observed was parabolic with maximum magnitude along the channel centerline and minimum at the walls
