Abstract

Efficacy of four different locally available plants (leaf part) viz., Datura innoxia (Datura), Zanthoxylum alatum (Tira mira), Trigonella foenum (Methi) and Eucalyptus citriodora (Safeda) was assessed against Tribolium castaneum in stored wheat grains. Datura leaves proved to be the most effective of the four tested plants against T. castaneum. The study proved the effectiveness of these locally available plants as insecticides
