Aone year old crossbred Jersey Heifer weighing 180 kg was presented with the complaint of a long standing swelling at the ventral abdominal wall at the point of umbilicus. Physical and clinical examinations revealed the case to be umbilical hernia. As it was reducible in nature, immediate herniorrhaphy was performed to treat the condition successfully
