Employee Perceptions of Sustainable Infrastructure Performance: A Reflective-Formative Higher-Order Construct Analysis

This study explores how employee perceptions play a crucial part in determining how infrastructure projects perform over time. We investigate the complex links between employee-centric characteristics and the triple bottom line components of sustain ability inclusion, environmental compliance, and economic viability-by using a reflective-formative higher-order construct approach. An online poll was used to gather information from workers engaged in infrastructure projects in Jammu and Kashmir. Insights about community access, equitable participation, environmental preservation, ecosystem care, and economic viability were requested from the participants. A rigorous statistical analysis was performed on the gathered data using Smart Pls, a popular structural equation modeling program. The findings of this study offer valuable insights into the complex interplay between employee perceptions and project sustain ability. We examine how employee-centric factors influence the achievement of sustainable outcomes, shedding light on the potential for enhancing project performance through targeted interventions. Our study adds to the expanding corpus of knowledge on sustainable infrastructure development and has applications for stakeholders, project managers, and policymakers alike. Through an appreciation of the importance of employee views, firms can implement tactics to promote a fairer and more sustainable infrastructure environment.
