The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges, forcing organizations to adapt instantly to ensure continuity and resilience. This study explores the critical role of transformational leadership, particularly by middle managers, in managing employee emotions and maintaining productivity during such crises. Through a case study of Infosys, the research examines how middle managers acted as change agents, leveraging empathy, emotional intelligence, and innovative initiatives to address employee well-being and engagement.Using the SAP-LAP framework, the study highlights key interventions such as remote working models, wellness programs, and flexible policies that helped Infosys navigate the pandemic effectively. The findings underscore the importance of middle managers in bridging organizational goals with employee needs, fostering trust, and driving sustainable change. This research provides valuable insights for organizations aiming to build resilience and adaptability in an ever-changing business environment.
