This paper aims at systematically studying and analysing the policies and procedures adopted by Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) in the recruitment and selection of human resources for the organisation. Data used for the study was secondary in nature and was collected from various sources such as annual report, paper from refereed journals and websites. The paper discusses each and every aspect of the Recruitment and Selection policies followed by BHEL in detail and concludes by critically examining them and discussing any scope for improvements if possible.
