Profit Analysis of Single Unit Karga System having Four Types of Faults and Single Repairman Facility

In this paper one -unit Karga System is analyzed wherein faults are characterized as micro minor, minor, major faults, software faults, inspection and maintenance on the basis of the time and cost of repair and replacement involved. It is assumed thatoccurrence of a micro minor and minor faults lead to down state whereas occurrence of a major fault leads to complete failure of the system. It is single repairman facility. On complete and partial failure of the system the repairman first inspects whether the fault is repairable or non-repairable and accordingly carry out repair or replacement of the components involved. All the calculation has been done according to collected real data from Adhvika Enterprise, Panipat.Various measures of the system effectiveness are obtained using Semi MarkovProcess and regenerative point technique. The analysis of the system is carried out on the basis of the graphical studies and conclusions are drawn regarding the performance of the system.
