This article aims to study the propagation of waves in multi-layered transversely isotropic medium with self-reinforcement. Thomas Haskell’s matrix technique has been used to obtain the frequency equation having free upper surface for n-layered media. Also, by using suitable boundary conditions, the expressions for the non-dimensional velocities and stress are derived.
