Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is gaining momentous with the changing business environment. As per companies act, 2013, the issue has emerged as a mechanism to play a significant role in the economic and social development of the country. The provisions of 2013, Act provide a new definition to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to boost the social development of the economy as a whole. Corporate social responsibility has gained the international concern due to the fact the corporations are now been widely open to the foreign investors. In this global scenario to enhance the business activities in a country, there should be some scope for the ethical, society oriented activities which benefits the community. In this article an attempt is made to draw the attention towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its analysis through the new Companies Act, 2013. And also its impact on various sections should be studied as well.
