The article is devoted to the study of metaphors used in the works of Muhammad Aminkhoja Mirzakhoja oglu Mukimiy, a representative of Kokand literary environment. It is analyzed that-the use of metaphors in the poet's lyricism and humor served to a full understanding of the author's artistic intention.
