This article discusses AlisherNavoi's literary-critical views in the preface to the devon of *Badoeul-Bidoya+, his demands on the devon and how the *Yoshlikdevoni+ compiled by ErkinVahidov meets these requirements. Scientific remarks on the poetic content and order of-the*Yoshlikdevoni+ are given and information on the tradition of creating thedevon is provided. This article also provides insights into Erkin Vahidov's literary aesthetic views.
