One of the most difficult tasks in dentistry is the orthodontic treatment of patients with parodontal diseases. The main goal of the treatment is to reduce the functional overload, prevent secondary deformations of the dentition and bite, use of small forces in the orthodontic movement of the teeth. In the treatment it is necessary to take into account the presence of concomitant diseases, the age of the patient, the degree of atrophy of the bone tissue, the number of teeth in the oral cavity, the form of the inflammatory process in the tissues of the paradont, and the stable level of oral hygiene.
