The concept of composition is verry comprehensive and meaningful. It applies to all creative processes and forms the basis of almost all art forms. The article discusses the composition and its complex types, patterns and analysis, the concepts of the main categories and patterns of the composition of volumetric-spatial forms. The main means of composition are considered, such as tectonics, rhythm, proportions, scale and symmetry. The types of volumetric-spatial compositions and methods of their construction are presented.
