This scientific article, entitled Theatrical Arts of Uzbekistan during the Soviet period, analyzes the state of theatrical art in Uzbekistan during the years of Soviet rule with the help of historical literature and periodicals. In the 80s of the XX century, as in the previous period of the former Soviet state, the dominance of the ideological factor and the impact of the ideological mechanism on the activities of all theaters could be seen in the theaters of Uzbekistan.
