In the progression of diabetic nephropathy, considerable attention is paid to the development of anemia. A significant reason for the development of anemia in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) with diabetic nephropathy is a decrease in the production of erythropoietin in the per tubular cells of the proximal enthrone. Anemia predominates in patients with diabetic nephropathy, it is associated with cardiovascular disease, retinopathy. Anemia begins to develop long before the violation of the filtration function of the kidneys.
