In this work, one of the tasks of the methodology for creating an electronic textbook is considered, in the example of teaching the subject "the basics ofprogramming for machine tools with programmed control". The basic concepts of file organization have been developed, which are required to reveal the essence of the studied subject using an electronic textbook by the power of a teacher.
