In this articleThe formation and development of the labor market in Uzbekistan, its state is described. Unemployment caused by pandemic restrictions and the measures taken to eliminate it and mitigate the situation are analyzed. Also, the reforms being carried out to ensure the stability of the labor market are highlighted. International experiences are studied, the problems of ensuring the employment of the population are indicated and directions for their elimination are proposed.
