Abstract

Herzberg (1968) suggests pay is a hygiene, or contextual factor, that prevents an employee from being motivated by such things as the work itself. To identify the factors which are affected for different satisfaction level based on salary of the employee was the main objective while to identify the employee current salary and expected salary deference was sub objective of this study. A 150 sample has been drawn by using stratified random sampling method. Data was analyzed through chi-squared test and paired t-test and it was found gender, education level, marital state, family members, garment factory and employee position are significantly effect to the employee's satisfaction on payment.
