Abstract

Handloom Industry has an awesome existence in the Indian economy. It signify the age old tradition, culture, civilization which exemplifies the richness and diversity of India. This study aims to provide an subjective assessment of the Kota Doria handloom cluster of Rajasthan, India. The focus of study to current analysis, process, products, input markets, and institutional contexts of this Handloom. The method of study is subjective assessment of this handloom cluster by primary and secondary research. It combines the collection and analysis of primary data from fieldwork in this cluster. This study will further help to plan a roadmap for the training and development activities to be undertaken in the Kota Doria Handloom.
