The concept of Cloud Computing is becoming a catchphrase in computing, and successful enough to attract more and more attention. The concept aims at transforming enterprise to personal scale computing requirements, to a utility service which can be metered and paid upon consumption. Based on a conceptually rich architecture and abstract models, cloud computing demonstrates successful applications in world largest organizations, ensuring a promising future, although performing present at infant level compared to its potential. Cloud Computing researchers still put more emphasis on developing end-to-end solution framework which harnesses multiple service facets on heterogeneous platforms to implement the Cloud concept. Focus to develop technical infrastructure, indeed essential for the success of any conceptual model, which ensures fruitful returns, if those have been guided and backed with comprehensive strategic policies considering their socio-economical, industrial, and global impact to stakeholders. This paper attempts to provide policy level analysis on opportunities and issues from Cloud Computing, with a multidisciplinary perspective.
